Two episodes in one

The Office

She Says

Superbowl episode
This was the super bowl episode, and while I thought the teaser was one of the funniest things I have seen, the rest of the episode was kind of "eh" for me. The Jack Black/Cloris Leachman movie did nothing for me, the roast - well I knew that was going to go bad, so yeah, there you have it.

Thursday Episode
I enjoyed the return of Karen, I'm a fan of Kelly, and I feel for Andy. But really this episode came down to one thing. Jim and Dwight should remain the sole individuals on the party planning committee. I can't wait to see next year's Christmas party.

Viva La Revolution!

BSG:

She says

Another stellar episode. You knew Starbuck and Lee didn't really get on that ship. even though Lee has become Mr. Politico, you knew he wouldn't go down without a fight. YAY Romo Lamkin! Loved his moment of hesitation in helping Starbuck, and even more I LOVED the lighting in that shot - so cool.

Speaking of things I loved and Starbuck, she stayed with Anders, got Anders help, and while I am a big Lee and Starbuck fan, I've always like Anders too - not like Duwalla, I dug Starbuck with Anders as well, and I am afraid Anders may be a goner...

OK, on to the Zarak and Gaeta. I knew Zarak was cold, but I forgot how cold he was, gunning down the quorum like that, wow chilled my blood. And Gaeta - the man of science and logic, logically he had thought out every last moment that had played out in the past few years, but the thing i think about people who are so far into everything is an equation, is they are lacking true passion. Gaeta didn't have true passion, he doesn't FEEL as much as he THINKS and I think that sunk him as a revolutioner.

Gaius - wait a second, did he grow up? When did he grow up? That Adama's predictament was so ingrained into his subconcious that he dreamt about it? Growth. That he teared up at Roslin's plea - Growth. That he went back to his fanclub - Growth. And that he had that last meal with Gaeta - GROWTH.

And Roslin - does that woman have passion or what - well, now that she has awoken again - who didn't believe her when she said she was going after them all - I wouldn't want that person after me.

Lastly - Chief Tyrol. Anyone else happy to see the Chief in action again, no longer moping, but seriously stepping up - although nothing would terrify me more then crawling through the ship like he too clausterphobic. Then lastly, the big crack in Galactica. I wonder if they can even jump again.

6 episodes to go.

Thank You Lord!

LOST:

She Says:

What can I say JIN woot!!!!!!!! I know some are not enjoying the time flashes, but I am. Espeically when they are giving us history to the island and to the characters. Loved seeing Roussuoe as she arrived on the island. Also, does anyone else think that Myles is really Dr. Hanso's son??? I do. I think that is why he is already getting the nosebleeds.

Sawyer, witnessing the birth of Aaron, by Kate of the past, heartwrenching. He could touch her, but he didn't. What restraint. Think of all the things he could have warned her about at that moment and didn't. He let the past remain, and will be redeemed only by what he does in the present. I am also appreciating the growing frienship of Sawyer and Juliet. And Juliet - is there a cooler cat then Juliet?

I could talk about the Oceanic 6, and the Claire's mom red herring, but ya know what, I was really more interested in the parts that took place on the island. So that is where I am going to stay.

I also now think the woman on the island in last weeks epidsode was Faraday's mother, who I think is Ms Hawkings... I'm wondering if this whole season will be about getting them to the island. I'm also wondering then, once they get there what is left to tell. but Lost always surprises.

Carry on My Wayward Cox

Scrubs:

She Says

Anytime Ted's acapella group sings I jump for joy, but the fact that they sang Carry On My Wayward Son - WOOT!!!!! I love how the character of Bob Kelso as grown it gives us an idea of who he was before he became Chief of Medicine, and let's us see how much that job can change someone. Another small favorite thing of that episode - the list, and especially the NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EHEHEHEEVVVEERR List that included J.D., Hootch (Hootch is crazy), and Jordan. Probably cause we see a lot of hootch now that Piper has discovered the Suite Life of Zach and Cody.

The second episode with Cox, trying to balance everything, hit a bit close to home at times, I still have faith he can make it through and not become Kelso. His journey is by far the most interesting to me this year.

Porcupine Man

Fringe:

She Says:

This was a beautiful episode, I knew Jack #2 (aka Mark Valley) couldn't be the bad guy! Loved the moment at the end with the ring, but I am a romantic. As for Porcupine man, well eww. But most things on Fringe make me say Eww. you just don't eat during Fringe, eating during fringe is even worse then eating during Bones...

Is it just me, or does anyone else out there not trust her pal at the CIA. I don't know why I don't trust him, probably because I have seen one too many J.J. Abrams shows. I also wonder what Olivia's connection is to Nina Sharp. I wonder if she is not somehow related to Nina...

Fugitve

Heroes:

She Says

Ok, I know I am one of the small few who are still watching this show, but ya know what - I liked this episode. I thought it was so much better then anything we had seen in a long time, I love the thought of Sylar actually being on the same side of all the heroes for once, I was shocked at the HRG reveal, but I am sure we will find out his reasoning a little down the way. I was creeped out by the loading of the heroes on the plane, and I LOVED that instead of being the damsel in distress, the one all the heroes seem to have rescued, Claire was the one who rescued them. I was actually excited to watch last nights episode, and that has been a long time coming. More on that later.

Chuck and Charlie

Chuck

She says

While I am now getting a better understanding of what Real 3D is, I still didn't see the need for the 3D element, but it didn't tarnish my viewing. I loved the return of Charlie Pace - ok successful non dead rocker Charlie Pace - fine his name wasn't Charlie, but he will always be Charlie to me. I thought Jerome Bettis was a riot, but most of all, I LOVE that at the end of the episode Chuck opened up to Sarah and told her the truth. We only had to sit through one episode with that hanging over us, I was a fraid they would drag it on and on and on. And while I know Chuck still has issues with what Sarah has done, at least it is out in the open. YAY Chuck!

Barney's Resume

How I Met Your Mother -

She Says

I am sorry this show is just too dang smart and creative and really, all about Barney. Neil Patrick Harris is an unstoppable phenom. OK that may be wishful thinking, but i am wishing him to be an unstoppable phenom. I loved how quickly Barney unnoticibly dropped to one knee to propse to Robin, and I love this:

Last Week in Review...it is coming.

OK, so we totally slacked last week - so I will be posting my brief thoughts on EVERYTHING I watched last week. they may be short posts until Tim catches up as well. I also watched Private Practice and Grey's Anatomy this week, but I am not going to comment on them until I actually like the shows again, which in the case of Grey's is when George gets to make more then a 10 second appearance. We haven't watched House or 30 Rock yet. soon though.
